It was a beautiful spring morning. The sun was bright, flowers were in full bloom, trees were gently blowing with the wind and looking out my window, the sun felt warm as expected, and I thought to myself, "its going to be a warm day." Three seconds after stepping outside my house I realized that the sun was an illusion of warmth. I'm sure I am not the only one who forgets to check the weather forecast before planing out what to wear....... Right?? Well I have come to the conclusion that just because its spring and we are supposed to "expect" nothing but warm weather, sometimes it doesn't always work out that way!

So for this post, I decided to combine a tad of winter with spring items. I know what you are thinking, "isn't a turtleneck sweater a little too much for spring weather?" It depends on yourself. Personally, I get cold easily, and this turtleneck sweater gives me just the right amount of warmth. I originally didn't plan on paring this nude turtleneck with a tan high-waist jeans, but after putting both on, I realized that I loved the combination. Accessories where as always, kept to a minimum; a necklace, earrings and a simple gold bracelet. Now let's talk shoes! For most, running daily errands while wearing a four inch heel is not practical. For this reason, if heels are not "your thing" try a pair of comfortable booties, slip ons, flats or sandals. I'm a girl who loves a little bit of both, so for the day, I went for the heels, but also brought a pair of flats with me. I love my feet way too much to wear heels all day!

Until next time,
