Do it Now! Sometimes "later" becomes "never"

June 20th is the officially first day of summer. It is also approximately four days from my birthday. Can y'all now tell why I thoroughly enjoy summer?! I cannot believe that I am turning the big 2 0! I will "officially" transition from being a teenage to an adult. Where has the years gone? Two or three years ago I never would have dreamed that I would have had the courage to launch a blog and share thoughts with people I have never met, but here we are. So since this was the officially first day of summer, I decided to welcome it with a dress. 

I love maxi dresses simply because of the comfort I feel in one. When I put this outfit together, I was actually in a rush to get to school on time, and yes I'm still in school. Summer classes are no joke at all. From 8:30am-3:20pm or 4:30pm, you are either in class, in a lab or tutorial. You do get a lunch break, but with a physics class, it never seems long enough! With the long day I had ahead of me, I wanted to be as comfortable as possible. I decided to pair dress with a sheer short sleeved flower top. I brought the hat with me, just in case the sun got a little too much, plus I wasn't having the best hair day. With a simple pair of flats I had everything I needed to look like I didn't sleep past my alarm!
