Strut with Style.

Spring is coming! I can smell it! Well, not really. It did snow two days ago, but that's not going to stop me from being hopeful.  One thing that I am sad to say goodbye to would be February break. I will miss sleeping in, trading my lecture halls for my bed and spending 75% of my time doing things that weren't related to school at all. Y'all probably think that by now I hate school, but I honestly don't, its just sometimes school can take over. One thing that I always find hard to do is to get back into "school mode" after a break, but if you don't work for your future, no one else can do it for you. 

Today's outfit was centered around my sleeveless vest. I have been itching to get my hand on one of these types of vest for a long time. It is a must have in my closet. I have some many ideas on how to style this vest, and this is one of them. I always found that high-waist jeans, a long sleeve turtleneck, and a statement necklace always looked good, regardless of the occasion.  Paring this with the long vest just seemed like the perfect addition. I love a good pair of booties. By "booties, I'm referring to shoes."   Adding the booties to my outfit seemed to pull it all together. So, if you ever staring at your closet in the morning, wondering what to wear, I dare you to try something like this. Don't worry about being "over-dressed" for school, but confidently walk through those halls. Remember, look good, feel good.
