Destiny is not for comfort seekers. Destiny is for the daring and determined people who are willing to endure some discomfort, delay gratification and go where destiny leads. ~Bishop T.D. Jakes~

Don't you love when you walk into a store and at first, shopping is the last thing on your mind, but you end up walking out of the store with something that makes the trip worth it? On this particular day, that is exactly how I felt. It wasn't very often to get a day off from summer classes, so I decided to do things that didn't involve reading. Since I hadn't been shopping since Boxing day, I figured I should try and update my closet. Now I know by now some people are saying, "yeah right, I'm sure she has been shopping at least many times this year," but I promise you I have not.

Contrary to popular believe, I actually hate shopping. I'm the kind of girl who would make a list of pieces I want from a store, get in, grab it and get out (and pay of course). I'm not a fan of window shopping but I am a fan of recombining the clothes I already have. That way, I can wear my clothes many times, just in different ways. On this day I found the perfect off-shoulder crop top! I decided to pair it with a high waist, high-low skirt. For my hair, I went with a simple bun and kept my make up to a minimum. I couldn't really find the perfect necklace to go with this look, so I left it out and just added a couple rings.

Until next time,
