A little backstory to this outfit:

As a recent graduate, I must confess that there are somethings in my final year that I never took seriously, and one of those things were grad photos. I'm not sure how it works in other schools but at the University of Saskatchewan, each student within each college picks a day to go in and have their photo taken for graduation. I almost missed the deadline to sign up because it was one of those things in my mind that I had zero interest in doing.

On the actual day of grad photos, not being much of a makeup person, I employed the help of my sister to make me look more presentable. I must say, she slayed on the make up arena. Never missing an opportunity to dress up, I decided to look as good as I felt. Sadly, all that preparation turned out to be completely unnecessary as graduates wear a traditional black robe with a white collar and a blue satin sash over their normal clothes.  But no matter, since this was around the time I was working on re-opening my blog again after the grad photos were done, I decided to take pictures.

There wasn't much thought to this outfit because, by the time my hair and makeup was done, we were running late. There are some outfits I find that regardless of the situation, will always look good. This is one of them. You could never go wrong with an off-the-shoulder bodysuit, belted high waist trousers, and black heels. Since it was a little chilly on that day, I added this navy blue double-breasted coat.

My "Body Love" introductory video is now up and running! So please go check it out!

Until next time,
