Hi! Its been more than a minute since I had a style post! So I figured, let’s take it back to the roots! Now with school done for the year, I can actually breath in a different way.

I need to call myself out on something that I have come to notice in my style. I have developed an obsession with high-waist pants and turtle necks. For the past 10 months, it has been my go to clothing of choice for any outing! Once in a while, I will throw in overalls, or a cute shirt and pants, but it doesn’t seem to change much! What can I say? You can never go wrong!

I also have another confession, I have honestly been bored with my style as of late, and when I’m bored, I tend to experiment. One of my favorite experiments to conduct is with clothes. I say all this to say:

1. You can NEVER go wrong with high waist pants and turtle neck - just make sure your colors are not clashing. For example, if you are wearing printed pants, pair it with a solid colored turtle neck.

2. Depending on the occasion, this look can be dressed up or down. This was a casual outing so I went with comfortable shoes, but this could also work with a pair of open-toed heels, or booties; for all those who are trying to stay warm in this chilling winter!

3. During my experimental stage with my style, I may try some questionable combinations but remember, its FASHION DARLING! (…it’s okay, you are permitted to exit now :) )
