It's a Wrap.

It's a Wrap.

You were born with grace, wrapped in love and  clothed with humility

Well folks, we are finally here. The moment we have all patiently/impatiently waited for. Winter has packed up its bags and departed with its return ticket revoked, for now. If you are anything like me, you are probably thinking, "when did I buy these many sweaters, boots, and jackets"? Or more dramatically, "I have nothing to wear!" Or for all my university students like myself, who barely worked all school year, your bank account has probably hit you with the harsh reality of the state of your poverty, that the idea of a shopping trip is a laughable suggestion. So before you hit the mall, or find who to remind that they have not gifted you with a birthday present from last year, hear me out!

The beautiful thing about clothes is the vast variety of ways each item could be worn. That's my secret people! For all of y'all that believe I'm constantly shopping!  Since I'm not a fan of shopping, I collect unique items in my closet that I know I can combine. Now I know every once in a while, I am itching for new items, but I'm very particular about what I buy.  A change in season, doesn't necessarily mean a change in the makeup of your closet. It can mean a change in certain combinations that you have previously put together. For example, I would typically wear this red turtleneck with high-waist jeans, or black cargo pants and then a pair of booties. Since its warmer outside, but not warm enough to break out the shorts and dresses, I decided to combine what I already had, which was this sleeveless wrap dress, with the turtleneck. For shoes, I went for a black-over-the-knee heeled boot and viola, my bank account is safe for now! Now eventually, you will need to buy more spring appropriate items, but I will encourage all of you to attempt to use what you already have. It will not only save you money, but time.

Check out the outfit details below.

Until next time,
